Eigenbook 隐私政策
Eigenbook 是一款本机优先、无需帐号的 AI 写作助手。它通过 AI 引导的问卷，把你自己的记忆、人生事件与想法写成一本真正可读的书。你的书籍、问卷回答与阅读数据仅保存在你的设备上。App 没有账户系统——无需注册、无需登录，也不需要或收集电子邮件地址。我们不收集分析或诊断数据、不追踪你，也不出售个人数据。
1. Data Storage / 数据存储
Your books, answers, table of contents and reading progress are stored only in this device's local database. Eigenbook has no account system and never uploads your book content to our own servers. The only exception is the AI processing described in the next section: when you turn on "Allow AI to process my answers", the text needed for the request is sent to our AI service provider over an encrypted connection.
你的书籍、问答回答、目录与阅读进度全部仅储存在这部设备的本机数据库中。Eigenbook 没有帐号系统，不会将你的书籍内容上传到我们自己的服务器。唯一的例外是下一节说明的 AI 处理：当你开启「允许 AI 处理我的回答」后，生成所需的文字会透过加密连线传送给我们的 AI 服务商。
Everything stays in the app sandbox / 一切都在 App 沙盒内
Besides the book itself, the local database holds your questionnaire answers, highlights, bookmarks, reading sessions, reading-speed samples, milestone records and writing reminders, together with any photos you attach and the AI-generated illustrations and audio. The app works fully offline, and exporting happens only when you explicitly open the iOS share sheet on your own content.

After you enable "Allow AI to process my answers", your answers are sent over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) to our AI service provider, and to no other third party, solely to generate the drafts and illustrations you request. With the automatic chapter illustration turned on, the opening paragraph of each finished chapter is sent to the same provider to create that chapter's picture; no other part of the book is transmitted for it. Your answers are used to produce writing output only — never to identify you, never sold, never used for ads or tracking. You can turn this off in Settings at any time to stop all transmission immediately; the app keeps working fully offline. If you decline, nothing is ever sent.
当你开启「允许 AI 处理我的回答」后，你的问卷回答会透过加密连线（HTTPS）传送至我们的 AI 服务商，且仅此一家第三方，用于生成你要求的书稿草稿与插图。开启「章末自动插图」时，每章定稿后会再把该章的第一段文字传送给同一家服务商以生成该章插图，除此之外不会传送书稿的任何其他内容。回答仅用于产出书写内容——不用于识别你的身份、不转售、不用于广告或追踪。你可随时在设置页关闭此开关，立即停止所有传送，App 仍可完全离线运作；若你不同意，则完全不会有任何数据被送出。
What is sent, and when / 何时传送什么
AI processing is an explicit opt-in: the app makes no request of any kind until "Allow AI to process my answers" is enabled, and disabling it stops all transmission immediately. Two endpoints of the same single third party — our AI service provider, operated by the developer at www.herelai.fun — may be called:

- Text / 文字（api/query）： the questionnaire answers needed for the current request, the generated prompts, and a randomly generated anonymous creator ID — used to generate the questionnaire questions, the table of contents, chapter drafts, paragraph polish and "rewrite" suggestions.
本次请求所需的问卷回答、已生成的提示词，以及随机生成的匿名创作者 ID——用于生成问卷题目、目录、章节草稿、段落润饰与「改写」建议。 - Chapter illustration / 章节插图（api/image/generate）： the opening paragraph of the finished chapter and your illustration prompt — used to generate chapter and paragraph illustrations.

Fallback / 回退： if consent is off, or you are offline, the app keeps everything on your device with its built-in local generator and templates, shows a banner explaining offline mode, and transmits nothing.

3. AI Accuracy Disclaimer / AI 生成内容声明
Eigenbook uses AI to help you write. AI output can contain factual errors, invented details, awkward wording or omissions. Treat every draft as a starting point: read it, verify names, dates and events against your own records, and edit before sharing or publishing. Eigenbook is a writing companion, not a source of truth.
Eigenbook 使用 AI 协助你撰写。AI 生成的内容可能包含事实错误、凭空细节、语句不通或遗漏，请将每一份草稿都视为「起点」而非定稿：阅读后请自行核对人名、日期与事件，并在分享或出版前先行修订。Eigenbook 是写作助手，不是事实来源。
4. Content Safety / 内容安全
In Novel mode, Eigenbook generates fictional narrative based on your instructions. Chapter illustrations and paragraph illustrations are AI-generated images as well. Eigenbook does not knowingly produce content that glorifies violence or hate, but AI output — text and images — can be unexpected. If you see something inappropriate, close the book, delete the book or the image, then tell us at herelai@icloud.com so we can improve it.
在小说模式下，Eigenbook 会依你的指示生成虚构叙事；章末插图与段落插图同样是由 AI 生成的图像。我们不会刻意产出美化暴力或仇恨的内容，但 AI 输出（含文字与图像）仍可能出现意料之外的结果。若你看到不适当的内容，请关闭并删除该书或该张插图，并来信 herelai@icloud.com 告知，我们会持续改进。
You can delete any book, chapter or illustration at any time, and Clear All Data removes everything the app has stored on the device. / 你可以随时删除任何书稿、章节或插图，「清除全部数据」会移除 App 在设备上存储的全部内容。
5. Anonymous Identifier / 匿名识别码
The app uses a randomly generated anonymous ID to mark the source of AI service requests. It contains no personal information and is reset when you choose Clear All Data.

The ID is not derived from the IDFV or IDFA, and it is not used for tracking or fingerprinting. / 此 ID 并非由 IDFV 或 IDFA 派生，也不用于追踪或设备指纹。
6. Required Reason APIs / 必要理由 API
This app uses UserDefaults to read and write its own preferences only (language, reading settings, consent state, anonymous creator ID, streaks and reminders). No other app can read them, and nothing is used for tracking or fingerprinting. The app uses no file-timestamp, disk-space, system-boot-time or keyboard APIs. All of this is declared in the app's privacy manifest.
本 App 仅以 UserDefaults 读写「本 App 自有」的偏好数据（语言、阅读设置、同意状态、匿名创作者 ID、连续记录与提醒），其他 App 无法读取，且完全不用于追踪或设备指纹。本 App 未使用文件时间戳、磁盘空间、系统开机时间或键盘相关 API。以上用途均已在 App 隐私清单（Privacy Manifest）中声明。
7. Data Deletion / 数据删除
Settings → Data → Clear All Data permanently deletes every book, answer, highlight, bookmark, reading session, reading-speed sample, milestone record, writing reminder, and all attached photos, AI-generated illustrations and audio from this device. Nothing is kept and nothing is transmitted. If you decline AI processing, the app works fully offline and stores everything only on this device.
在「设置 → 数据 → 清除全部数据」可永久删除本机上的全部内容：所有书籍、问答、划线、书签、阅读会话、阅读速度样本、里程碑记录、写作提醒，以及所有附加的照片、AI 生成的插图与音频。删除后无法恢复，且不会有任何数据被传送。若你拒绝 AI 处理，App 仍可完全离线运作，所有内容仅储存在本机。
Uninstalling the app also removes everything the app stored on the device. / 卸载 App 同样会移除 App 在设备上存储的全部内容。
8. No Account, No Tracking, No Sale / 无账户、不追踪、不出售
- No account / 无账户： there is no sign-up, no sign-in, no password, no email address, no social login, no cloud account and no server-side profile. The app is fully usable immediately after launch.
不存在注册、登录、密码、电子邮件、社交登录、云端账户或服务端个人档案。启动后即可完整使用。 - No tracking / 不追踪： no advertising SDK, no IDFA / ASIdentifierManager, no App Tracking Transparency, and no analytics or crash-reporting SDK — the project has zero third-party package dependencies.

你的数据从不出售、不用于广告、不用于识别你的身份，也不用于跨 App 追踪。 - Limited disclosure / 有限披露： apart from the consent-gated AI service described above, data may be disclosed only to comply with applicable law, legal process or valid governmental requests, to protect the rights and safety of users, the developer, the app or the public, or with your consent or at your direction.
除上述经同意的 AI 服务外，仅在以下情形可能披露有限数据：遵守适用法律、法律程序或有效的政府要求；保护用户、开发者、App 或公众的权利与安全；或经你同意或依你的指示。
No method of transmission or electronic storage is completely secure. While we work to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security. / 任何传输或电子存储方式都无法保证绝对安全。我们会尽力保护你的数据，但无法承诺绝对安全。
9. Minors' Privacy / 未成年人隐私
Eigenbook is not directed to minors below the age required by applicable law for online services without parental consent, and we do not knowingly handle personal data from them without required consent.
Eigenbook 并非面向未达适用法律规定年龄、需父母同意才能使用在线服务的未成年人。我们不会在明知情况下未经必要同意处理其个人数据。
10. Changes to This Policy / 政策变更
We may revise this policy from time to time. Revisions will be posted on this page with a new revision date. Continued use of the app after a revision means the revised policy applies.
我们可能不时修订本政策。修订内容将发布于本页并标注新的修订日期。修订后继续使用 App，即表示适用修订后的政策。
